Leadership development programs

Be ready, relevant and revered.

Most leadership development teaches leaders what good leadership looks like. This one makes them practise it.

Designed and delivered through Culture Hero, my learning experience design consultancy, these programs are built on one idea: the skills your leaders need already exist in them. The job is to create the conditions for those skills to come back online, and stay online when things get hard.

For organisations where

The current way isn't working.

  • Leaders are reactive, stretched and stuck in operational mode
  • Development has been inconsistent or one-off
  • You need leaders who can hold a team through change, not just manage the calendar
  • You want something that sticks past the first week back at work

What you'll get

A program that actually changes how leaders lead.

Programs built around your people

No generic frameworks, no off-the-shelf content. Every program is co-designed with you, built around the specific challenges your leaders are facing and the shift you're trying to create.

Play-based methodology that builds real capability

Grounded in neuroscience and adult learning theory, the methodology creates conditions where leaders develop self-awareness, creative confidence, and the ability to lead through change, without a single trust fall.

A mix of formats that sustain growth

Group sessions, peer learning, and optional 1:1 coaching woven together over three to twelve months. Because one workshop doesn't change a leader. A consistent practice does.

Measured progress, not just good vibes

Capability growth is tracked across the program so you can see what's shifting, and where to push next.

Full Stack Leadership

Lead at every layer.

Most leadership development focuses on one or two layers. Full Stack Leadership works across all five, because that's where the real gaps are.

Dara's session created a relaxed, energising environment where our leaders felt comfortable being honest about the behaviours that shaped our year. The activities were smart, engaging and surprisingly powerful — they shifted perspectives and led to meaningful conversations that wouldn't have happened in a traditional workshop. She helped us turn reflection into momentum, with clear insights we could carry straight into 2026. Our team left aligned, motivated and genuinely excited about working differently.
Peta Lonsdale, Senior Learning & Capability Business Partner, Melbourne Airport
Fast paced, fun, engaging and aligned to our values and corporate strategy. Our leadership team quickly developed a rapport with Dara that endured throughout the workshop. Plenty of laughs, creative building and thoughtful conversations. The kind of session that establishes behaviours that actually deliver strategy.
Geoff Duggan, Head of Finance & Corporate Services, Launceston Airport
In order to build an organisation that can shift, stretch and respond rapidly, you need a workforce that can deliver it. These workshops are the instrument to achieve this change in thinking.
Jennifer Travers, Partner, KPMG
Dara's dedication and playfulness was evident in every aspect of the event. Her dynamic presence and innovative ideas truly added a special touch to the conference, creating a memorable experience for all our leaders.

1:1 Executive coaching

The best leaders have someone in their corner.

Leadership is a largely solo sport. You're expected to have the answers, hold the team, navigate the politics, and keep moving, usually without anyone to think out loud with. 1:1 coaching with me is the space where that changes. Direct, warm, and built entirely around what's actually going on for you, not a generic framework someone else designed.

A thinking partner, not a cheerleader

I'll ask the questions you're not asking yourself, push back where it's needed, and help you see what's in the way, whether that's a system, a habit, or a story you've been telling yourself.

Sessions that work on the real thing

Each session is built around what's live for you right now. No set agenda, no homework for the sake of it. Just focused, applied thinking that moves something.

Practical strategies between sessions

Insights that evaporate after the call aren't useful. You'll leave each session with something concrete to try, test, or shift before the next one.

A clearer leadership identity

Over time, you'll develop a sharper sense of who you are as a leader, how you work best under pressure, and how to use that deliberately.

What's included

A real engagement.

Available online or in-person (Melbourne). Ongoing or fixed-term engagements.

  • Chemistry call to make sure it's the right fit (complimentary)
  • Fortnightly or monthly 1:1 sessions (60–90 minutes)
  • Email or voice note support between sessions
  • Session notes and action captures
Her one-on-one coaching helped me lead with clarity and care, and her practical strategies for engaging both impacted staff and those staying in the team made a real difference. Dara brings a combination of strategic thinking and genuine empathy.
Kids Under Cover
One of the biggest takeaways that came out of our leadership program, for me personally, was learning ways that our team can support each other through vulnerability and uncertainty, as well as how to explore and adopt more creative and playful ways in how we approach our work.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

How long are the programs?+
Programs typically run three to twelve months depending on scope and what you're trying to shift. Shorter intensive formats are available, get in touch to discuss.
Do you work with individual leaders or whole teams?+
Both. Programs are most often designed for leadership cohorts of five to thirty people, with optional 1:1 coaching layered in.
How often do 1:1 coaching sessions run?+
Fortnightly is the most common cadence. Monthly works for leaders who want a lighter-touch engagement. Most coaching engagements run three to six months, with no lock-in.
Is coaching confidential?+
Completely. Nothing discussed in sessions is shared without your explicit consent.
Can this be run alongside a broader culture initiative?+
Yes, and often the best results come when it is. If you're looking for something that spans both culture and leadership, the Design Partner offering at Culture Hero may also be relevant.
